 Berkeley County Jail Assessment and Jail Analysis: Martinsburg, West Virginia

 Project Description

The Berkley County Commissioners Court contracted for a project assessment and jail analysis in preparation for construction of the county’s first unified courthouse in more than 100 years. The project involves the renovation of an 85-year-old former cotton mill to construct the facility.

The project includes the conducting of a comprehensive facility assessment involving courthouse, court room, and holding facility areas. Also to be provided are a compilation and presentation of policy and procedure recommendations.

The project’s final phase includes the creation of curriculum and training of all courthouse personnel prior to the relocation to the new facility.
