School Safety Information |

This page contains valuable information for parents,
guardians, students and all concerned community members. As you scan the
webpage, you will notice video links, podcasts and written materials
designed to provide our community members with vital school safety
information.
As a parent or guardian, you may want to watch the series of school response videos on shelter-in-place, lockdown and evacuation and reunion site procedures. These instructional videos will help to become familiar with the specific actions you should take if one of these events occurs in our district. Any of our safe school stakeholders may wish to download our School Safety podcasts (which are available in both .wav and .mp3 files) to their cell phone or laptop computer in order to ensure that they are aware of what will be expected of them if a school safety incident or weather related emergency should occur on one of our campuses. |

This MISD School Safety Information page also contains written
documents for parents and students alike, including an anonymous reporting
form to document safety concerns; procedures for safe travel to and from
school; information on how to report and respond to bullying and threats,
and helpful school zone safety hints. The Evacuation Basics and Reunion Site
form contains a map and directions to Camp Hoblitzelle, the school
district’s designated Reunion Site for students and parents. School safety is a top priority in the Midlothian Independent School District. Take time to watch the videos, listen to the pod casts and review the written information on this page to help keep our school district safe and secure for all students, staff and visitors. |
